Glacier Food: meringue w. blackberry pudding
Dedicated to the poets Shelley and Coleridge. In a new book by Richard Holmes, called "The Age of Wonder, How the Romantic Generation Discovered the Beauty and Terror of Science," the author writes: "Though Romanticism is often presumed to be "hostile to science," the Romantic poets seem to ha been positively giddy - sometimes literary so - with scientific enthusiasm. Darwin's voyage aboard the Beagle is an example of explorations in this "age of wonder". His passion for discovery quite romantic.
